But what minutes! Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day. ~Benjamin Disraeli

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS:

PHIL STELLA:
Selected Workshops for In-House Corporate or Organizational Attendees
* Visual Communicators as Problem-Solvers.
This session encourages people in in-house video/media shops to think more like their internal customers and help them solve problems. It stresses being pro-active when interacting with senior decision makers, helping them identify communication-related problems where your media tools and expertise could solve these problems and focusing on cost-effective results and outcomes rather than glitz and glitter.

* Marketing Your Shop In-House
Aimed at people who manage in-house video/media facilities. It encourages them to become pro-active mission critical resources instead of just the “AV geeks”. It offers ten critical strategies to help effectively market those shops in-house, project a positive image for themselves and the value of what they do.

Selected Workshops for Independents, Production House & Vendor Attendees
* Power Networking For Visual Communicators
Aimed at in-house video/media staff, production houses, service/equipment providers and independents. Learn how to develop and enhance business relationships and maximize Power Networking as a strategy to help you do your jobs better, faster, cheaper, smarter; to find new or better jobs; and to market your services and those of your employers.

* Power Self-Marketing For Visual Communicators
This session focuses on how you can enhance your own positive image casting or that of your employers through simple, no cost and low time strategies: the Power of the Pen – writing articles in association and business publications, the Power of the Platform – delivering presentations and workshops and the Power of the Pro Bono – strategic volunteering and freebie projects.

PHIL STELLA is resource for business people who want to communicate with more power and success. He runs Effective Training and Communication, in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in producing videos for training, employee communication and marketing and delivering workshops on a variety of communication skill topics.
