24th ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS CELEBRATES AWARD WINNERS
NEW YORK, NY — The Telly Awards 2002 Video Competition received in excess of 10,000 entries from across the United States.
Sharon Shepard-Levine, producer of Beyond 9/11 for The Mental Health Association in New Jersey received the Bronze Telly Finalist Statuette. The Telly Awards entries do not compete against each other; rather they compete against a high standard of excellence. Approximately 14-18 percent of the 2002 Video Competition entries won this prestigious award.
The Telly Awards is a national awards program founded in 1980 to showcase and give recognition to outstanding non-broadcast video productions. Since entrants submit only their very best work, earning a Telly Award recognizes a significant creative achievement. Last year’s winners included clients such as A&E, Warner Brothers, Turner Classic Movies and the US Army. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
